Battery Powered Plane Breaks Record, Batteries Die.
On 19th of July an electric plane went faster than 200MPH and then shortly after ran out of batteries.
Yes, even worse than running out of batteries midway through 50 Shades of grey… So I’ve heard.
Test pilot Chip Yates managed to glide it in safely, but as you can see in the video below, It’s pretty damn close – for all his calm, collected demeanour even he looks relieved while letting out a “Holy Crap” when safely down.
