Joaquin Phoenix Movie Star to… Rapper?

Joaquin Phoenix - I'm Still Here

In 2008 Joaquin Phoenix retired from a successful film career, some memorable roles, for me atleast, include; Gladiator, Signs and Walk the Line. But to be honest I totally missed his retirement. Unitil now.

 

A trailer has been released for I’m Still Here – a documentary about Joaquin’s retirement from acting and reinvention as a… wait for it… Hip-Hop Star… Yeah his new career path is rapper! He’s not going it alone either as apparently P. Diddy himself is taking Joaquin under his wing! This is some of the weirdest news I have heard all year.

Apparently you need lots of hair to be a rapper, not so much for films…
